I am a self-taught artist who loves art in every form. My art style is nuanced from a range of inspirations such as nature, emotions, and everyday life. I use multiple layers of oil paint on canvas with a palette knife to create texture and movement. Sometimes, I also use a scraping technique to expose the underlayer to give depth and texture to the painting. I begin my paintings with a concept in my mind and then let my painting guide me. My paintings are abstract compositions in which texture and colors play an expressive role. I am not trying to paint nature but rather the experience of it.
